I've been thinking about how TikTok completed the pivot-to-video content turn that facebook wanted to Make Happen back then, and the cosmic irony that Meta is today in the process of being 'pivoted-to-video' (in the death-euphemism sense) by TikTok, the way facebook put all those journalists out of a job back then.

I guess this is also what Jason Farago is getting at with: "the “drift” into postmodernism is only now being completed thanks mainly to digital transmission and reproduction"

I read as: TikTok completed postmodernism? maybe?

postmodernism is modernism getting 'pivot-to-video'ed ?
